So this is it. The new direction I'm taking my artwork personally. Professionally I'll be working the way clients and companies want me to. With all the dark and dismal video games, life in these times, and other things that worry me I've decided to battle it the only way I know how. With stylized and happy ideas!

Good on you buddy! I take the same approach with my own artwork. I figure the world can do "dark" just fine -- without me. So, instead, I'll concentrate on poking fun at the world. (Unless of course when duty calls and clients asks otherwise.)
I really like the new style direction. Your next Brett Bean book is going to be quite a direction shift.
