I never confronted people when I was a kid. Bullies, adults, I just let them run me over. I would go home and draw little scenes and have imaginary friends. This was me playing off of those childhood times.

Robots

Oh yeah, in my tags that's where I list what I listened to when making the piece or sketch.
The creature Box guys rule. Check them out, they make the Ratchet and Clank games. 2 more artbooks have they made! I didn't set out to make this look like their stuff but it quickly turned into it. I guess sketchbook pro and photoshop lend itself well to this combo. If you don't know them you should, they are amazing artists. Dave Guertin and Greg Baldwin

Old animations
Man, I just started a new blog for a few characters I created and found out you can upload animations. So this is all old and kind of bad, but I wanted to be an animator when I started out.
Fish rig by Royal Winchester www.royalskeys.com/
He's awesome. A great guy and teacher.
all mine, rig, model and horrible textures and all
Rig and model are not mine. I can't remember or I'd give credit, my apologies to the owner.

zoo sketches

And now you know the exact path I took at the San Fran zoo. This also made me realize that I forgot about sketchcrawl. If you don't do sketchcrawl you should in your town. Started by Enrico Casarosa from Pixar. Every 3 months, really great artists and inspiring stuff. www.sketchcrawl.com

Imagine FX article!

Imagine FX called me the John Bonham of sci fi cartoon creatures! That was unexpected and wicked awesome. He was the drummer for Led Zeppelin and one of my fav rock bands so that was fun to see. Huge thanks to the people there at Imagine FX for making such great 4 page spread. Clean images, great layout, they actually made me look professional.....ME.
