The Magician

Been working on a story revolved around this magician who has real power but is so lazy as a magician, he uses real sorcery to make silly little magic tricks work for he has no patience to learn the real way.He has a 40 year old starry eyed assistant that does all his bidding because"the great Bewildo" was his childhood hero.  Now that Jousting, dancing, and jesters are bigger than ever his heydays are over ad he scrapes by for his living.  That's the zygote of the story thus far.  Assistant to come soon.

lil drop of poison

Listened to Tom Waits this morning, art happened.
I was definitely going for the feeling I was having and not for the actual person.

Mundane Monday meets Motivational Madness

So I tend to worry too much about being recognized by my artistic peers.  To be seen as an entity on the art community.  But I have forgotten that it all starts with me.  So every Monday I want to kick start my Mondays as well as anyone out there reading by linking a good selection of artists that has something cool and great to say for our art world.  So here they are in no particular order of awesome.

That's it for now.  I could go on all day but I think if you put to many on here nobody clicks on the talent.  So 5.  Check them out, hopefully 1 will inspire you the way they have for me.

Samoors

Samoors.  For the City Blog.  I can only really talk about the artwork here as I am telling the story of the City through the blog and can't really blah blah blah as the artist.  So the idea is the protagonist runs into a  faction of warriors called the Samoors.  The male counterparts are called Scavs.  Females are the warriors etc etc.  The story is taking hold of me.  It's coming along.  When enough is fleshed out I will be deciding on approaching a graphic novel style or game pitch.
